ATLAS (Fipronil 80 WG) can be used in several ways depending on the crop and pest:
- Seed treatment: Seeds are treated with 0.5–2 mg active ingredient per seed to protect against soil pests. The product is incorporated into the top 2–4 inches of soil before planting .
- Soil treatment: Applied at 100–200 g active ingredient per hectare for cereal crops to control soil pests .
- Foliar spray: Applied at 50–100 g per hectare, usually in 2–3 treatments spaced 10–14 days apart, targeting foliar pests like stem borer, leaf folder, and thrips . Spraying is recommended during early morning or late afternoon on calm, non-rainy days to avoid drift and wash-off
